Head Start and the Early Learning Initiative (ELI) Program involve children (ages 3-5) in a wide variety of learning experiences, while giving them the opportunity to gain social skills through interactions with other children.  The play based program engages children in activities such as creative art, music and movement, dramatic play, and language and literacy.  Early Head Start and Help Me Grow (HMG) are home-based programs designed for pregnant women and children (birth to three). Weekly visits are conducted within the home to promote the child’s development and provide skills to parents.

Health Services, parent involvement, and a myriad of support services are also an integral part of the Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
