Local volunteers donate thousands of hours of service each year, helping in Head Start classrooms, stocking the food pantry, assisting with the Christmas Give Away, picking up donations, cleaning up area roadways, and working with children at Earth Camp. In addition, our Board of Directors, Head Start Policy Council, Health Advisory Committee, and Head Start Parent Groups are made up entirely of volunteers committed to the principle, ideals, and reality of Community Action. |
