Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency operates one of the largest food pantries in our community. The Choice Food Pantry provides emergency food assistance to income-eligible Fairfield County residents once per calendar month. At each visit, residents received enough fresh and non-perishable food items to provide nine meals for the entire household. Because we have a choice food pantry, individuals and families are able to select fresh and non-perishable food items that better align with their preferences and dietary needs. To operate the Choice Food Pantry, LFCAA receives funding primarily from United Way of Fairfield County and generous donations from local residents and businesses. Anyone wanting to visit the LFCAA Choice Food Pantry should bring income verification and Social Security cards for all household members to the agency.

We are located at 1743 East Main Street, Lancaster.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Within the LFCAA Choice Food Pantry, shelves are dedicated to Housewares – new and gently used pots and pans, small appliances, bedding, home décor pieces and other items. Pantry clients can select items from this area to meet their household needs.
